I worked at Wells Fargo part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Goal oriented, results driven, customer focused. Always striving to provide a banking experience like no other while offering financial services catered to the customers needs. Offered awesome military incentives

Cons

Not always using the most efficient business practices. Too much access to secure areas and resources given to employees. Mandatory "sales pitches" incorporated into every customer interaction.

Advice to Management

Eliminate some of the dual-control systems in place and leave upper security demands with the managers. Consolidate dual key inventories.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Run it like you own it attitude. Opportunities to make significant impacts to the business. Had the opportunity to learn, build my career and build a great team. Committed to providing a great customer experience.

    Cons

Culture has changed since Wachovia acquisition. Not as innovative and more political. The company is so big but they are still trying to operate like a mid-sized one. They won't necessarily mandate certain systems or processes which would help customers, employees and shareholders.

    Advice to Management

Executive management is good at communicating but line of business execs are not.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pretty easy work. People are nice enough. Good amenities (cafeteria/cheapish gym). Somewhat frequent free food.

    Cons

The usual corporate extracurricular stuff seems to be encouraged to a great degree.
