I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

WF has one of the best work place environments and locations. They allow flex hours and telecommuting. Most of the people in the company are good too.

Cons

Sometime have to work during the nights. Some groups have a lot of fluff which will hopefully get reduced during the current consolidation.

  1. "They just want you to refer ore products"

    Pros

Benefits, starting pay over $12, attendance policy, PTO, etc

    Cons

The actual job will drive you insane. It's not just customer service. They want you to refer a product to every customer. If a cust calls in wanting their balance, we have to try to get them to sign up for a credit card. The referral/sales goals are very aggressive. It's annoying. Try to get into another dept that's not working on the phones.

    Advice to Management

Drop the referral aspect, let's just service the customer.

  2. "satisfied"

    Pros

plenty of support under the right manager

    Cons

inconsistent goals. You focus on one thing for a few days then ask why their isn't enough sales in another.

    Advice to Management

track goals either weekly instead of daily. Sales doesn't work that way. You have to be able to reach your goals within an average amount of time. It gets discouraging when you think that you're failing at you job on monday and tuesday, then by friday you're the best thing since sliced bread. It's too much pressure on a daily basis.
