I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

Pros

hard work is quickly rewarded with promotions
atmosphere is pro employee - management always working to give people the skills needed to advance

Cons

Jobs are extremely production focused based on bonus pay, but management pushes other agendas at times
Raises are minimal and it is difficult to move up within a salary bracket

Advice to Management

Increase the maximum raise for top annual reviews to be more in line with performance.

    Pros

This company is some what good to work for because they are dedicated to your well being. The benefits are good and the company is stable.

    Cons

They are not a company that pays very very well. In fact, sometimes I think that the amount of work they give is not comparable to the pay.

  2. "Entry level customer service opportunities are good."

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay rate is excellent with base + bonuses for people having no experience to be hired straight off the street.

    Cons

Expectations are set very high, perform or get out. The more you learn, the more that is expected from you and the harder it becomes to make target goals. Eventually promotions that came quickly in the beginning start to work against the employee and feeling set up to fail is common place.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within.....take your senior team members and spend more time recognizing their commitment and tenure and advance the worthy so long term goals are possible per rep instead of the typical new hire class ha ving a secret person primed to advance upon graduation and ignoring the people waiting to advance until replacements arrive in next class.
