No opinion of CEO

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

Pros

felt that the salaries were competitive (akin to most larger companies, I guess, as opposed to at a smaller firm; Wells Fargo does have PTO days - a system which I like much better than counting vacation/sick days

Cons

my group had been legacy Wachovia before being acquired by Wells Fargo; compared to Wachovia, Wells Fargo's management was less diverse, fewer women, less flex time, no community volunteer time, etc.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good Pay
    Training was cool
um, I'm pretty sure that's about it

    Cons

    Everything.
Manager has favorites and does anything, even lie to people, to get sales.
Doesn't care about other employees unless its the favorite.
Treated us like telemarketers instead of bankers.
    Made calls ALL DAY long.
Products are only geared around people with a lot of money.
Managers don't care about the customers.
Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Unethical.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps you should go to school for Management 101. Start there. Look in the mirror and recognize that there's a revolving door for a reason, it's not the company, IT"S YOU!

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work here now to get it out of the way, if you were ever thinking about it.

    Cons

The micro management where they stand right behind you and nit pick at things that are done within policy and procedure but they personally don't like it. The required use of over 5 mandatory line of script that must to said/read to every customer despite having know and helped some for year and year, thats not good customer service thats robotic behavior that people see thru. Ergonomics are horrendous. Raises are low despite high earrings for the company. Turn over at the branch level is ridiculous, you barley get to know a co-worker an there gone. Years ago this was a great and fun place to work, it has steadily gone down hill in my opinion. That walk all over the little guys and never help you up. In stead of getting a bonus for reaching all time sales goals are a company, that just raise them and ride you min and min, hour after hour to reach them, day after day. Stress, stress, stress for piddly pay.
