I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits, PTO, a consistent, predictable schedule and clear career paths are probably the biggest pros of working with Wells Fargo.

    Cons

Working with Wells Fargo comes with many, many cons - at least in my experience. Turnover at the branch in which I worked was extremely high and management at that particular store was way sub-standard. Expect to be harassed about your sales goals (even if you're meeting your numbers) and forced to speak to your customers in a disingenuous manner.

Tellers are also the busiest people in the store, yet are paid the least. Every single teller that I worked with had a college-level degree - we were consistently ignored when applying for corporate-level jobs at Wells Fargo, but reassured that we were the most important people in the branch.

If you're okay with drinking the Kool-Aid, you'll make it at Wells. I've noticed that those who don't necessarily think independently make it rather far with the company.

    Advice to Management

Higher better managers at the store level. One of my managers maintained the same position for five - six years - a sign of redundancy at the company at which I currently work. Also, lay off the purse-strings for your store-level staff - they're the hardest-working, lowest-paid employees of the company.
