I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

good benefits, typical of most large corporations--health, dental, life insurance, generous personal time off, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and" they say they have" work-life balance

    Cons

Production-driven environment in all 3 positions that I have held. If production is easily attainable, they raise it (as one manager said, "too many people were getting high performance reviews/bonuses, so they had to raise the production quota"). Quantity over quality and family. Promotions based on who you know, not what you know.

    Advice to Management

Don't shun working parents because they can't commit to job before family. Mandatory overtime/ PTO blackouts should pertain to management if required of their employees. It brings down morale when management puts restrictions on your time and then takes a long vacation at the same time.

    Pros

Great work/life balance, they communicate well with their employees

    Cons

Not a lot of room for growth for african-americans, lack of concern with growth and development for all staff members, work environment is extremely political, this is truly a not what you know but who you know organization with regards to advancement

    Advice to Management

pay more attention to the little people as they are the glue that holds things together
