I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

Pros

PTO, Volunteer time for child's field trips, paid Holidays, 9-5 hours

Cons

Saturday schedules, customer interactions, high sales pressure

Advice to Management

focus more on helping the customer, less on selling them a credit card if they're already in debt or banking prioducts that dont benefit the customer

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, decent pay, generous allotment of paid time off (PTO), full holiday schedule, very large company so career mobility as generally an option

    Cons

More and more corporate every day; bank encroaching on the autonomy of financial advisors in the field, new policies, procedures, practices not well-received universally; downsizing an ever-present reality; MAJOR realignment of executive leadership recently, could be a while before all are comfortably operating in their new roles and responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Make a real effort to maintain the "regional culture" that is constantly alluded to, but seldom practiced any more -- employees who have been around for a long time hear that message but it just doesn't resonate any more because it's further and further out of line with the everyday experience.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There's a lot of opportunities, albeit it can be tough to break out of your silo.

    Cons

Salary increases are limited even when shifting into other lines of business.

    Advice to Management

You need to think as much about the people who work for you, as you do about the stockholders. Rhetoric does not match reality at a team member level. Once heard "take care of your people and the stock will take care of itself".
