I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

- Has great PTO when you're allowed to take it.
- In addition provides a decent education incentive and outside of the home mortgage side provides opportunities to grow professionally.

Cons

- Work life balance is terrible.
- Woefully understaffed.
- While direct managers are good for the most part once you get about 2 - 3 levels above there is an extreme disconnect with the staff and they don't understand what is really needed for customer service.
- Unrealistic sales goals while not even in a sale position.
- No reason given for how employees are selected for the layoffs going around keeps employees living in fear and seeking new employment opportunities. (20% turnover at my site in the past 8 weeks)

Advice to Management

Happy employees speak to happy customers.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers and Management at my branch

    Cons

Sales pushy, they recite how we should do everything "ethical" but in order to hit these insane goals, you have to bend the rules

    Advice to Management

Be realistic with sales goals. We understand its a business but pushing sales like you do is not helping customers trust the bank.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Diverse backgrounds of colleagues. Strong management team. Very good initial training. Great resources/products.

    Cons

It's a very tough industry to get started from the ground. Quite honestly I have all of the tools I need to be successful and I should be doing better than I am. Any trainee getting started had better have a good network and one hell of a business plan.

    Advice to Management

Keep on top of the trainees.
