Doesn't Recommend
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Schedule working the 9-5 dream
Getting the holidays off

Cons

Management cram sales goals down your throat granted I had no problems with hitting them but what you do today or last month gets thrown out the next day.
Mind numbing morning meetings everyday coming in the half our early to cover same thing everyday....
Hours upon hours of work and being the dictatorship of service managers that go on power trips
Branch manager that and I quote if my friends and family didn't open up accounts with wells they weren't really my friends or family.
Overall worst experience ever, every position is underpaid for the hoops and loops you have to hop to satisfy the management till the next day.. and quarterly "Gold" bonus is a joke

Advice to Management

Loosen the reins

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Wells Fargo as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

-If you make it 5-10 years you'll have a decent shot at a very stable career
-The systems they have set up to manage paperwork are some of the best in the industry. Learn what you can then go elsewhere.

    Cons

-You're a cog in the machine, they don't give a flying anything who you are or what you can do. You do the work exactly they way they want it or else. Do not ever EVER offer suggestions, leave your brain at the door.
-Whatever you do, don't be LGBT, SO much trash talk behind those poor people's backs. Felt really sorry for them. It's a redneckfest in white collars there.

    Advice to Management

-You need to allow people in positions at the middle of your processes to field questions for other employees on the edges of your processes. Your own employees don't understand the full process because you keep them so isolated. People were so grateful when I spent just 5 minutes tracking things down for them.
