I worked at West Texas A&M University as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

It definitely paid well, even for a student worker. Very understanding faculty and staff. Some red tape, but not as much as other places.

Cons

I can't think of many cons. It was a great place to work. I guess one downside was that my position was grant-funded, so it ended before even a year was up. But still a great place.
