I worked at Western Alliance Bank full-time

    Pros

Everyone, including all management, is easy to get along with. They're willing to give you all the training you want as long as you ask for it. They provide ACAMS memberships.

    Cons

Units seem to be divided by pay scales where certain people get paid more while working less.

I have been working at Western Alliance Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Working in the info-sec department, management shows a real care about daily needs and is always looking for ways to improve. Management is very flexible with time-off. Given more than enough time for training. The company provides free parking and metro passes to the employees at the DT PHX office. Benefits and pay is competitive with industry standards

    Cons

Since the bank is relatively large at this point, the topic of audit is a big one. Many standard procedures are constantly inhibited by audit which seems to dominate anything done in IT and similar roles.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Western Alliance Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Close knit working environment Big Christmas/Holiday party Annual bonus

    Cons

Expensive benefits Lack of adherence to regulatory compliance Upper management will bend rules and regulations for clients with large balances Ownership of Bridge Bank (red flag after red flag from both clients and employees) Old technology When you quit, HR will ask you to leave a good review online (specifically on Glassdoor), because they are aware of their unfortunate reputation

    Advice to Management

Invest in technology and focus on internal compliance Instead of asking employees to leave good reviews online, maybe fix the issues that are causing employees to leave
