Pros

- benefits are realy good - strong training plan -as a part of Schlumberger you will learn a lot (and make an amazing CV)

Cons

- as a part of Schlumberger you are just a number and they can throw you like rubish at any time and without any reason - salary is very very poor - you are expected to do your 12hours daily job and spend extra hours for your training after this. - rotation schedule is hard for a long time(6x3)

Pros

Your coworkers (the vessel crew) are very diverse (20+ nationalities) yet we're a tightly knit crew, training at facilities around the world, operations can take you anywhere, zero expenses (no rent, food, gas, etc...), competitive pay, fixed step promotion program allows you to advance as quickly (or slowly) as you wish, serious focus on training, plenty of free time for traveling (~3-6 months vacation/year)

Cons

Working 5 weeks straight at 12 hours per day/7 days per week can take its toll on you, spend up to half of your off time in training courses or office assignments, away from family and friends for long periods of time, amount of training can seem overwhelming at times.
