    Pros

great training program for someone starting out

    Cons

toooo much hype . no job security

    Advice to Management

the industry has changed over the years, you need to change with it. The days of old fashioned marketing tactics is over and the sales people and TO managers are the ones left holding the bag when deals don't go down

I have been working at Westgate Resorts full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some of the most professional, honest, loyal, hard-working and productive people have worked at Westgate through the years and there has been a "family" feeling and team atmosphere in many of the resorts in the past.

    Cons

Upper management has either fired or ran off most of them.

    Advice to Management

1- Do what you say you are going to do, with clients and employees alike. Stop being deceptive and sneaky, always trying to rip everyone off.
2- Get rid of the big egos and deception.....make WG be a place people want to be! Be fair and honest. If you give your clients true value and they will advertise for you. Your reputation will improve and business will grow!
3- To do the above, you're going to have to wipe the slate clean ( upper level and many mid-level management) and start all over again, building it right from the foundation up. If you do this, you'll regain business as it were in the "old days" before the corruption got out of hand and drove your business in the ground.
