    Pros

Working with the youth going on day trips was fun and interesting.

    Cons

Management was awful, demeaning, and inconsiderate.

    Advice to Management

Out with the old, get some new caring/ compassionate directors.

I have been working at Wheeler Clinic (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Obviously the clients and families. That's why I got into this field for starters. Making a difference really matters. Some of the benefits are average. Not the greatest but not the worst either.

    Cons

Workload is definitely the biggest drawback. Never enough time (or resources) for the clients. Sometimes burnout contributes to very high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on quality of care. (Rather than quantity of programs or referrals.) Offer more fun events for staff. Reduce turnover by making benefits packages more competitive.
