employees fun to work with
be willing to learn and you will move up quickly

Cons

management turnover higher than employee turnover but that comes with the industry. Have to be able to adapt to changes quickly and efficiently

    I worked at White Lodging full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    The training provided was excellent.

    Cons

    There is no work life balance. Expect to respond to emails on weekends and evenings. Expect to work 8 of your 12 hour day on the front desk and inspecting rooms as a General Manager. Then expect to take your other work home that you couldn't get done. The company really lets the main ownership group run the show and they manage with an iron fist out of Merriville. You are expected to get to the bottom line no matter what...even if it means cutting corners. Unfortunately, they grew too big too fast and the terrible treatment of their managers is causing many tenured employees to resign. I would never work here again.

    Advice to Management

    You are too busy building your virtual bench to notice talent in front of you.....might want to take a step back and focus on retention before you lose everyone.
