I have been working at Willamette Dental Group full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

The Pro Active approach to Dental health is very much in line with the prevention training I received in Dental Hygiene school. Many other positions I had required me to sell or promote dentistry and products as production of income for the office. I love the focus on prevention and education. I have amazing benefits and I am considered full time as a 30 hour a week employee! Willamette provides well for its employees!...

    Cons

I do not have enough time to work with new patients to do a full assessment, cleaning and oral health education. It causes me to experience stress when the time allowed is to short to provide the ideal care.

    Advice to Management

Plan a realistic amount of time to fully provide care and education to newly on board patients to the practice.

I worked at Willamette Dental Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Benefits, PTO, and a clinically focused role.

    Cons

Impossibly full schedules, micromanagement, unattainable performance metrics, contracts built to force retention, legacy focused CEO/owner, limited scope of practice, low tech equipment, and a tendency to fire anyone who dares to ask tough questions or make suggestions.
