I have been working at Winn-Dixie full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Somewhat flexible hours, easy to move up if you have good work ethic, paid vacation and sick.

    Cons

Since bi-lo bought the company, hours have been cut drastically, and expectations heightened, the pay isn't worth the abuse.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Winn-Dixie full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Its a job. It has benefits if you're full time.

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations from upper management and corporate. The job you do is never good enough. The atmosphere is one in which nobody wants to be there. Salaried managers have literally been told to work open to close to meet expectations since the hours given for hourly employess is so low. This compny cares nothing about its people.

    Advice to Management

Change upper management and change the culture.....better yet...sell the company to someone in the grocery business. This is what happens when an investmetment company owns a customer service driven business.
