Welcoming and Encouraging Leadership
Certified Ski InstructorFormer EmployeePros
Lots of opportunities to learn and improve with real results in quality and type of work, great independence with guidance from experience, and working outside exploring the mountains.
Cons
Overtime pay is reduced by a percentage for longer term employees, support on busy times of the year can be thin.

Pros
Free pass, rewarding sometimes, tips
Cons
Most toxic work environment I’ve ever work in. The supervisors constantly talk about how they support you, and to talk to them, but when you do, they mostly respond with a condescending tone, and snarky remarks. They don’t help you, they just make you feel worse. They constantly change little details and make it a big deal when you don’t know what’s changed. If you are not certified they will make you feel like a terrible skier, and you will always be on first timer lessons. This department is not about teaching people how to ski, it’s just a way for cocky and high ego men to feel better than you.
