Pros

On time salary and good infrastructure

Cons

Management is unethical and dangerous. A problem was started with the management after they denied to pay transfer allowances. They told my fellow colleagues that I was caught in a theft incident. It is a blunt lie as Neither the wipro management nor the police ever informed me such incident. They also asked their employee not to tell me anything.! So I was in dark and could not take any legal step against them. After sometime I changed my job. They also reported to my new employer the same during background check. I could have lost my job but luckily I survived. Entire incident was unknown to me until recently. I got this information in informal way. wipro has suppressed the entire incident. I am trying to collect evidence to file a defamation case against them.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
