I have been working at Wipro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work culture (Hyderabad). Friendly people and decent managers, Facilities like library, cafeteria, Young energetic people, Not much pressure

    Cons

Low pay, for freshers at least, bad hikes, variable pay concept called QPLC which ensures u don't get any money,Not much onsite. People are switched between technologies and failure to gain expertise in any one of them. You become a Jack of all technologies. Ensures you don't get any opportunities outside.

    Advice to Management

Stop training people in one technology and making him work in another. Managers should have at least a little expertise technically to understand the difficulties faced by the developers. Give good salaries and good hikes to retain employees and prevent attrition. Hire less and train people well instead of hiring in truck loads and making them warm benches and paying them a cyber coolies wage.
