Pros

The people here are the brightest in the business, there are no hidden adjendas and everyone has a genuine desire to help. Management is responsive and the shift towards retaining talent is very visable.

Cons

Compensation is not quite where it should be across the board, but there is an awareness of this and it is being addressed.

Advice to Management

Continue to recognize individual accomplishments and communicate that issues are known and detail how they are being addressed.

    Inadequate training and decisions made without field sales input. "Do or leave" management style by a team that has no industry experience.

    I worked at Wolters Kluwer full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Legacy legal publisher with Solid products, and an excellent customer support team. Many customers have used them for 50+ years. They created this industry.

    Cons

    Incompetent field leadership and policies. Little is given to someones actual ability to lead/manage a sales team when they are put into leadership roles. Training is weak and ineffectual in general, but especially for Field Leadership. Products are dated and pricing for internet based versions of legacy print materials is high.

    Advice to Management

    Clean house at the field management level, stop rewarding your pals and recognize those who know how to coach and lead.
