I have been working at Wolters Kluwer full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Flexible work schedules and work from home options
Some of the best people to work with - smart, capable, friendly, etc.

Cons

Can't get out of their own way to win
The best people leave when they discover they cant win
Pay scales seem to be from the 90's

Advice to Management

Get a vision and work it

I worked at Wolters Kluwer full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People, I have to say they hired the best of the best. Good learning environment. I went through excellent training. Ample amount of PTO. Fun team activities that built good comradery.

    Cons

Very very boring. The job itself is monotonous and unless you want to do the same thing day in and out, it is not that interesting of a job. They also closed this office and made many others via a 14 minute video. Not exactly the best way to announce a massive lay off. Mandatory overtime... for 20+ weeks of the year. I'm still in communication with many people that work in Kennesaw and it's much worse now as far as overtime. It sounds good at first, but it's right during the holidays.

    Advice to Management

The team building exercises and weekly meetings were what made the job tolerable. Keep it fun by adding the fun in because the work is worse than watching paint dry.

I worked at Wolters Kluwer full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

More than 2 people showed up to my going away party.

    SA Team = awesome
    FSR's = Can be awesome

    Cons

Do not share anything personal (Disability, issues at home) they will target you, take what you know, and then cast you aside. The EBITA # is good, SLT get bonuses, you get nothing

    Advice to Management

There are Exec's who would still come back and fix this mess. Seriously.
