I worked at Wolters Kluwer as a contractor (Less than a year)

Pros

fun and friendlyy people to work with. others were willing to help if you didn't know the answer

Cons

Never knew what was really going on. would hear keeping some people and then getting rid of everyone

Advice to Management

be more clear on what is going on and not mislead people

I worked at Wolters Kluwer full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

PTO was good, some benefits were good

    Cons

Work/life balance, management was very reactive instead of proactive.

Some other reviews mentioned this already...The environment was very toxic. upper management couldn't appear to care less about it's employees, only putting in policies to make working there miserable. Many times things were brought to the attention of management, and they did nothing to address it until it became a problem.

Product Managers and Developers did not want to do anything to fix the problems in the software, they only cared about adding in bloat to the system. Customers were always nickel and dimed, even though management said they did not want to do that. Upper management was very disconnected from what the actual day to day operations were, they only cared about their bonuses. Some groups have suffered as high as 80% turnover in one year but nothing was done to figure out why.

    Advice to Management

Stop worrying about yourselves and focus on the employees that make you look good. The company will not succeed if you lose track of the everyday things that make the company as great as it was when it was the market leader.

I have been working at Wolters Kluwer full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Your first year working with C T Corporation you receive 20 days off with four flex days. However, you will need every day working for someone that expects everyone to work overtime but not willing to pay for the overtime.

    Cons

The work is very stressful and the pay doesn't justify working at C T Corporation. Thanksgiving and Christmas time you are expected to work and the company doesn't care if you have a family.

    Advice to Management

Need to pay more than they currently pay by about $20,000 more.
