Some of the benefits like lots of vacation time is very nice. Your current manager will be the key to your enjoyment working there.

You're just a little guy there no advancement. The business moves regardless of what the pieces say

Advice to Management

You can't keep giving your people a 3% raise and expect them to perform at a decent level or to continue to want to work there.

    Pros

Opportunity to take ownership of customer facing products or specific product features is rewarding

    Cons

Company is understaffed, employees are overworked, turn over is high, there are no perks, recognition for effort is non existent and there are near 0 advancement opportunities. Company has been consistently cutting full time staff for past couple years so morale is in the tank. Limited to no opportunities for product innovation. Management act like dictators, keep your mouth shut or get stomped.

    Advice to Management

Show that you care about your people even a little bit, at least make an effort to build a community among the thousands of Wolters Kluwer employees to bring morale out of the crapper. WK employees never talk to each other.
