I have been working at Wood Group Mustang full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

its a decent company to work for..salary is not up to industry standards for people with less than 35 yrs of experience. senior engineers are generally nice and easy to work with.

Cons

Not much scope of lateral movement or training. Lack of regular reviews and feedback to employees. opportunities for growth are limited
diversity it lacking

Advice to Management

Take care of people and help them develop into better employees.

I have been working at Wood Group Mustang full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Many people with a lot of experience available. Great training and development courses great environment for work. A lot of company events for their people. A lot of fun team building events.

    Cons

Not too much guidance on day to day basis. Under a merging process which is confusing. The company does not value graduate degrees or further professional development. Too much of a "cowboy" culture but still some deep thoughtful innovation opportunities.

    Advice to Management

As part of a people's oriented culture it would be good to take care of people's concerns during the growing and merging processes.

    Pros

Mustang ensures that you are not making design mistakes. There is a high degree of quality control. The atmosphere is friendly and open.

    Cons

There are no interesting job tasks. Everything is mechanized and monotonous, so there is no incentive to promote hard-working or talented employees. They need warm bodies and that's it.
