Pros

Unparalleled network, learning opportunities and experience. A tenacious person can really make a difference here. Solid professional development opportunities. Best of all - a lot of diverse, driven and intelligent people wanting to do good.

Cons

If you cannot handle ambiguity, uncertainty and a bit of what seems like chaos, this place is probably not for you. Work-life balance can slide if you are not vigilant.

Advice to Management

Keep perspective

I have been working at World Economic Forum full-time

    Pros

    Amazing travel opportunities
    Great benefits and perks
Opportunity to engage with legendary leaders

    Cons

    Very political
Strong culture of fear, particularly in the Geneva office
High churn rate at lower levels, lots of institutional knowledge being consistently lost
Confusing and ever changing mountain of processes

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to the "bottom of the pyramid" at the office as high turnover cripples overall productivity
Create initiatives that are doable and have purpose rather than just to have one
