I worked at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The NJ office is very contemporary with a "hotel" feel of lounge areas, free coffee in the kitchens, gift shoppe and even has an almost full service Starbucks coffee shop. A free gym membership also comes with being a full time employee to a great facility on site with good classes and equipment. Wyndham also offers great employee discounts on hotels etc even for your family.

    Cons

Corporate IT is a very high paying department but that does not come without a cost. You are expected to work an obscene amount of hours with little to no appreciation. Like many large companies a lot of politics run the business and it's more about who you know rather than what you know. Due to the gentle overall company culture - things are often slow to get approved or accomplished.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people and offer more flexible working arrangements.

I worked at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The pay is good for most positions.

    Cons

Wyndham preys on the elderly as they have the best credit scores. They sell them packages that are great for travelling but fail to tell the buyers that they will pay ever rising maintenance fees, fees for more reservation transactions, fees for more guest confirmations, fees for late payments, fees for adding names to the ownership, etc.

    Advice to Management

Put more emphasis on sales and their tactics. The resorts are amazing so the product should sell itself. High pressure tactics and even threatening tones by the sales staff should not be tollerated.
