I have been working at XOJET full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Interesting industry and different from the tech companies in the area.

Cons

Office is depressing compared to tech companies in the area. Don't expect any team building or social activities - unless you plan & pay for it yourself.

Trying hard to build a better culture, including doing more fun stuff.

I have been working at XOJET full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice group of pilots but narcissism is starting to grow.

Schedule that is rare in 135 world.

A few good people left in the SOC that work hard and know their jobs.

    Cons

CEO is a puppet for the holding company. Can't answer any real questions about growth of company. But loves the '#' rally to troops.

HR is not even relevant. The HR in SOC office is working with the director of ops and not a separate entity. Management and HR fired a pilot last month for acting safely in a mx issue but caved to the passenger's complaint.

Safety is no longer important and all they care about is completion of flights. They continue to reduce rest for crews and degrade the hotels of where we stay.

    Advice to Management

CEO doesn't have vested interest in the company otherwise he would have fired HR VP in Sacramento along with other demoralizing characters whom the pilot group does not trust.

If you truly have a growth plan discuss with the pilot group. Otherwise your attrition will continue even more than of late.
