I have been working at Xerox as a contractor (More than 3 years)

Pros

Leading edge technologies
Microsoft partner
Great work life balance
a lot of training opportunities
Good amount of group events to keep morale up

Cons

very high rate of contractors and need to constantly remind some managers that you're done at 40 hours.
Overtime is rarely approved

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The people I work with they are consumate professionals. Our customers who appreciate us more than upper management does. My immediate manager who is old school and allows us to function as a team and unlike upper management understands and respects our views.

    Cons

Tops down management by people who only car\e about the bottom line with no regard for the people in the trenches. Ursula Burns has got to be the worst CEO to ever be put in charge of a company. She cares for no one but herself and treats people as though they are morons. She has gotten rid of most of the engineers and software people and shipped those jobs overseas.

    Advice to Management

My advice to the board of directors is to fire Ursula and start treating employees like human beings instead of burdens to be let go so as to make the bottom line.

I worked at Xerox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice work place environment and good flexible hours. It was nice and easy to work from home when required. My group was good, have heard worse things about different groups.
It was innovative to work with most of the people.

    Cons

Not enough transparency in the decision making process. I was not made aware of many required things which I came to know later. They have been firing a lot lately so job guarantee wasnt really there. My manager changed and even she didnt know much about how things were done and happened,

    Advice to Management

    Make the entire structure clear
