I worked at Xerox as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good talent in the company, just not in most management positions. Potential for good revenue based on technology.

    Cons

Through lay-offs and cutbacks a lot of good people have left. Constant beating on the bottom line has started to get show not much blood left in the turnip. Low morale and few anual raises. The intent to outsource 60% of the work force to India (mostly software.)

    Advice to Management

Get serious on creating an office that has an atmosphere conducive to productivity. Don't be afraid to spend money on the products to get them where they need to be rather than looking at constantly beating price down and sacrificing quality.
