I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Extensive training on a number of different health & welfare and financial products.

Cons

You will never get a raise. They will tell their current employees that their is a freeze on raises, but will hire new people and pay them much more than their loyal long term employees make.
This is definitely not a place that you want to retire from, Use it for the great experience it will give you to include on your resume and move on to greener pastures.

Advice to Management

Stop worrying about what kinds of shoes your employees are wearing and work on making sure their is adequate staffing so people don't have to work like dogs with no recognition or appreciation.

I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Ability to work from home, nice co-workers for the most part

    Cons

No raises in 7 years. No clear direction of the company. Constant layoff threats - the only solution Ursula can come up with in every single one of her quarterly meetings is we'll need to look into laying off more people & outsourcing more jobs overseas. Doesn't create a secure workplace at all. Most people come in for a year or less & then bolt as quickly as possible. It's basically just a big name to put on your resume then move on. Ridiculous employee survey results saying everyone was happy with the workplace & only 16% asked about raises. Seriously??? no raises in the past 7 years & only 16% of the people surveyed complained about that? I don't think so

    Advice to Management

Be up front & honest with your employees & set a clear direction for the company. Constant layoffs may be good for a dime more in stock price but it's sinking the company. Invest in your employees & they will be the ones who will resurrect this once great company back from the dead.

    Pros

You are given the ability to make decisions.

    Cons

Reductions in your area regardless of contractual obligations to clients.

    Advice to Management

No salary increases for 6 years demotivates a workforce.
