No opinion of CEO

I worked at Xerox full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

In search of a progressive future, it threw away its strengths.

Cons

Micro management and mistrust. Employees are led by the nose and can't feel autonomous.

Advice to Management

Hire good people and get out of their way.
Xerox USED to do that, and it works!

I worked at Xerox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Allowed to work the shift I requested

    Cons

Absolute lack of leadership. The management staff is detached and not involved with the call center. They tell you to lie to customers and make calls short. The building is not clean and many employees develop respiratory illnesses. Extremely unclean working conditions. If you miss work for being sick the management shuns you. HORRIBLE

    Advice to Management

Define the roles for management, re-train or replace the existing management. This would dramatically reduce attrition. Develop a sales commission scale that is clear and fair.

I have been working at Xerox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love Xerox because I have the opportunity to move anywhere in the world. I love my agents, I love learning new things within the company.

    Cons

At my site we have no opportunity for advancement within our site, no raises, hard work and dedication is not recognize, no structure.

    Advice to Management

Advance your hard workers and not people who never come to work. Thank you every once in a while goes a long way. Structure should be in place as soon as a project starts, and it should start with Upper Management (OPS Manager, Supervisors, Agents, Etc). Show your agents that you care about them and that they are not just there to make numbers, don't use scare tactics of I'm going to fire you if you don't do something that you like or agree with. Communication is key, appreciate your workers and give them something to look forward too.
