I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Good people that work hard and care about their work however management does not have a clear vision nor do their share it with their employees.

Cons

Strategy that is currently in place is not yielding results and hasn't since it was put in place.

I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Level of autonomy, ability to work from remote office, ability to travel

    Cons

Culture of ACS still prevails. Clients are leaving our data center services each year and it seems that the new ones are set up to fail.

    Advice to Management

Consulting and outsourcing have become no better than recruiting services and temp agencies. The bench is simply not as deep in expertise as it once was, or as you believed it was. No one gets training anymore. Instead, clients invest training dollars in their own staff with their exit strategy in mind. They know outsourcing won't save them in the long term. Not with this model.

I worked at Xerox full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Brand name still holds value with some clients and can gain initial meetings.

    Cons

Innovation has exited the company. Now a high cost, mediocre value, me-too player in the world of print technology and outsourcing.
Many poor acquisitions in the last five years & associated high costs have created billions in good-will on the books that will most likely continue to hold the company back well into the future.
