Pros

Good business concept. Nice products and service lineup.
Nice looking product covers.
Market can grow
A good takeover target.
Change in top management can mostly fix their issue.

Cons

Workplace humiliation like never seen before
Highly uninspiring atmosphere. EXTREMELY HIGH TURNOVER!
Senior management always tries to cover them.
Overall disappointment.

Advice to Management

Unfortunately change of the original top management is needed to make this company with really good idea a true success story.

I have been working at XpresSpa full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits/ great tips

    Cons

    No proper training sales/services
    Weak unprofessional management
    Corporate very wasteful financially
    Disconnect!! staff/management/cooperate
    Small space causes clutter
Clients are missed due to lack of space
    No proper incentive: bonus/pay raises

    Advice to Management

    TRAIN*
First, without knowledge there is failure
Knowledge is practical application of being studious.
How can you expect a business to thrive when employees aren't given proper tools
No two techs are the same but should be on the same page
Training is missing in the spa
    Trading techniques/ sales tactics ect
It is very easy to write policy and procedure on how to and why to but our work is different
    Emotional, spiritual, medical and practical
Touching and changing people's lives is what we do
    EMPOWER*
Who are your best techs/sales people find out seek them out, build a team, set real goals, bring them together and change the culture starting with the people who keep your business thriving
Management should be trained the same constantly growing
Starting with the basics in HR policy
Pay the people that have been doing great for so long
Those who are techs and mangers should be looked at as more of an asset
Empower them to make decisions teach them to be strong
    AIM*
    New sign this week
Throw these products away that week
Then bring them back but at higher rate??
Find out why things aren't selling
Some of the retail is absolutely worthless taking up space and costing money
Something simple as the cream a therapist uses affect the services
Why not ask your therapists what they think
They use the lotion/cream, not someone at a desk

    MAINTAIN*
All employees/ partners etc are working parts of this company
Every piece of equipment, service tool etc are extensions of us and if one part is lacking then we lack as a whole
I truly believe all employees should think this way
But if you dont, how can you expect us to

I have been working at XpresSpa full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Growth Opportunities, Benefits, Vision, Dental, Medical, and Bonus potential is GRRREATTT!!!! You want a fast pace location to keep you on your toes well this is the place for you. We're growing and exciting things are coming!!!

    Cons

The badging process and background check for the airport is a pretty lengthy, but I understand it is out of your control.

    Advice to Management

Keep growing! Keep investing in your staff. Competitions are fun!
