Be patient, firm when needed and have fun with the students.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

    Free pool access,
Good co-workers and management that is helpful and understanding.
Having fun even when training and practicing.
Everybody is friendly, even most of the YMCA members (most)

    Cons

Intense work (not just sitting and watching, but scrubbing, re-arranging chairs, cleaning windows, ect.)
    low pay.
The summer is the worst, though the rest of the year is not so bad.
TONS of rules, exceptions to the rules, and then even more rules. And the rules sometimes change according to age bracket, meaning it's hard to tell which rules apply to who sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps simplify the rules some? Though they all have a reason, sometimes the learning curve feels more like wall.
