I worked at YMCA as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

it is hard to complain about working outside in the boundary waters taking kids on canoe trips. Especially when you work with your best friends!

Cons

This was a seasonal job. The pay is lousy, but the perks are great. There is not much room for advancement. Don't let it stop you if you have the time on your summer off!

    Laid back atmosphere, really nice people.

    Cons

    limited hours, but that comes more with the territory/job title.

    I worked at YMCA as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Positive experience with the Y staff. They really wanted to help me as a college student gain some hands on experience.

    Cons

    Didn't have any positions to move me into once I graduated. Would really liked to have stayed in the company.
