Pros

It's "safe"... because of the size and the bureaucracy, people are rarely let go. The old AT&T adage about being "retired in place" is true here as much as with the rest of AT&T.

Cons

Cronyism, bureaucracy, extreme scarcity of resources, antiquated management philosophy for a technology business, sub-market salaries and overall compensation, mediocre benefits.

Advice to Management

Take some risks. Jettison the old advertising infrastructure, and the people who are clawing to hang onto it. Quit talking about the people who work "under" you - we don't work under you - we RUN your business.

    Pros

startup style work environment, and you will always have something to do. Salary might be a little below market, but benefit is good, including 5% of 401k and above average bonus.

    Cons

people are not happy and not respected. For instance, only top managers' birthday get celebrated and there is always a party. But ordinary employee's birthday will be completely ignored.

Employees are not rewarded based on contribution.

    Project management is very disorganized.

    Advice to Management

create a better work environment and show more respect to employees.

    Pros

Free snacks, decent compensation, good people, casual environment.

    Cons

No one will listen to your ideas. Almost too casual an environment- like working in an R-rated frat house. Unrealistic expectations for accomplishing big tasks in a very short period of time.xc

    Advice to Management

Management has shown consistently that advice will not be considered, so.....there's no point
