Pros

Suit to my work experience and qualification, especiall in the Telecommunication Industry

Cons

working in YTL comms required a high dedication and more time in order its high expectation. None of news resources can handle the task given at its urgency based on company's demand. YTL expecting all new employees came into the company with their previous knowledge and skills as a package. Well, Thanks to god cause letting to work in YTL Communication.

Advice to Management

YTL has jus started it new wing (Telecommunication sector), so there improvement need to be done in the earlier stages especially the human resources requirement like tool, profesional appliance subject to job scope in the technical scopes, special fund allocation to support the front line technical team. A Strong commpany always prapred with a strong HR and finance ability.

    Pros

    - Good work life balance
    - Flexible working culture

    Cons

    - Wants everything cheap but extort the most out of the employees
    - Salary increment is not favorable ; performing staff and under-performing staff gets the same amount of increment
    - Medical benefits are horrible and a nightmare
    - Too much favoritism and there is no open door policy where you are free to give feedback to your bosses fearing you will the next target
    - No such thing as P&C even you go to HR ; you will their topic for lunch.

    Advice to Management

    Please rate your staffs performance based on their appraisal score and give increment based on what they have scored. I don't think its fair for a hardworking staff to be at par with one who doesn't show their work.

    Flexibility to explore, objective to be in forefront and innovative.

    Cons

    Frequent directional change, involvement of business owners in operations. Everything preferred to be cheap than quality looked into.

    Value people and stand hold of decision within senior management group.
