No opinion of CEO

I worked at Yahoo full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Perks. Free healthy snacks, free food. I would recomend this employer to freinds if the job was in Sunnyvale. Remote areas like Burbank, Carlsbad or New York I would recommend them stay away.

Cons

Poor bonuses, shoddy employee rating scheme that no manager seems to understand. Bad management of remote sites.

Advice to Management

Get rid of Prod Ops upper management

I have been working at Yahoo as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great perks (iPhones for all employees, free meals at cafeterias serving a variety of cuisines, free tickets to concerts and SF Giants games, etc). My project was also interesting and I had complete control over designing the solution.

    Cons

It's a big company, so it takes a while for your products to become live. But Yahoo is definitely getting a lot better at this thanks to Marissa.
