I have been working at Yahoo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The perks can't be beat! Free food! New phones! New baby policy and 5 yr sabbatical are among some of the best!

    Cons

Politics can get in the way of promotions or pay increases. It's more about who you know then how you perform.

I worked at Yahoo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Top brand, lots of employee perks, most positions offer good resources to get the job done.

    Cons

Lacks trust within the organization, you'll need to earn your place or lose it, don't expect an easy ride, forget work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget to manage down, not just up.
