I worked at Yahoo full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
At many levels (excluding E-staff), Yahoo hires exceptional people. It's filled with folks with a high business and emotional IQ. The pay is solid as are the benefits.
Cons
Current senior management have no real plan for long term growth. As a result, employees are generally tasked with working on products and doing deals with no sense about how their work fits into the overall direction of the company. This sense of frustration can be found at nearly every level and explains why there has been such an exodus of talent in the last two and a half years.
