I have been working at Yardi Systems full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Little interpersonal conflict, polite and respectful co-workers and management, no yelling or public humiliation, group activities, stable and reliable work experience, can leave when you expect to at the end of the day

Cons

Low pay, customer service can be stressful, subject matter is not particularly exciting, little room for advancement.

Advice to Management

Need more support when trying to work between groups. There are also no advancement goals until after the 5 year mark.

I have been working at Yardi Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Casual atmosphere, friendly people, family-oriented. One of few decent firms to work for in Santa Barbara. Profit sharing into your 401K come holiday season. Lots of company organized events.

    Cons

Limited room for growth within the company even though it is large and expanding rapidly. Pay is weak compared to the industry. It seems that all real responsibility and decision-making power is consolidated to just a few people who don't have the time to make all the decisions required by management at a company of this size; therefore, many of the less important decisions aren't made in a timely matter, nor is the amount of attention applied to them as necessary.

    Pros

The atmosphere is great and the employees are really hardworking people.

    Cons

Horrible hiring methods take too long to get good help and salary is way below market value.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and realize that this is a competitive market in this area and you will continue to loose great employees because of your lack of appreciation.
