    Pros

Great young, fun company. Lots of potential for growth with an upward moving company focused on the big picture. Really great culture. Really great people individually.

    Cons

Territory assignment and quotas are a joke. Someone in BFE North Dakota is supposed to hit the same quota as someone with LA?! Makes no sense. Feels like management tells one person one thing and another person another thing for feedback. Not consistent. It's all a political game run by people who may never have worked in sales before. Young company that needs to grow up.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a new structure for quotas and territories. The top reps do well because they have great territories - stop saying that's not true. They continually do well because you feed them better territories. So the people that do well always do well and the people that don't do well will continue to struggle. Look at some of your tops reps...how did they go from being on a PIP to closing 50+K a month? They got a new territory. Bring in more managers with more sales experience. You have young 20something year olds as managers - what experience outside of Yelp do they have with sales? Stop playing favorites with who becomes managers. Most of the people working there won't last 2 years because of the games you play.

I have been working at Yelp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Atmosphere, Room For Growth, No Guessing On Next Promotion. Upper Management does care about employees. You are able to create your own schedule depending on your territory.

    Cons

Cold calling businesses is not the greatest, all inside sales, compensation is a little low.
