    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Yodlee full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1) Good place to learn many technologies
    2) Right place for self motivated techies, very Small Pool of techies
    3) Snacks Coupons (valid only at office cafeteria; forced)
    4) Free lunch and lunch / dinner allowance for night shifts, holidays and weekends
    5) Short business trips to onsite for techies

    Cons

    1) No knowledge sharing, you can survive only if you can manage yourself, be just a executor and don't think
    2) Few individuals (think themselves as great techies) present in all teams in the company would rule / dominate you, they cannot be questioned and if you dare, you will be black marked as bad team player. Manager / Senior management listens only to these folks. These so-called techies designs the application
    3) No cutting edge technologies adapted, if you are beginner in those technologies, you may find interesting, otherwise specialists will get pissed off with old traditional implementations
    4) No change is accepted, home grown employees are awarded and rewarded
    5) No quality code being developed, release and patches always encounter issues and rolled back many times. Worst part is - only that specific developer can fix the code none other in the team is aware of the changes made
    6) Production changes are done on the fly with management's approval without any impact analysis done
    7) Sometimes short business trips to onsite offered to incapable resources just to utilize the allocated fund
    8) Manager / Senior Management totally biased and you can survive only if you just perform whatever they say, don't express any new ideas, then you will be stamped by the manager as non-team player and against management
    9) No clear role definitions, be ready to do any work which manager demands. If you nod for anything everything the manager wants, even SE will be double promoted to Leads over night.
    10) No brand value, so attracts mediocre professionals and who really wants immediate job change and interview panels compromises due to lack of good candidates interested

    Advice to Management

Please don't keep talking about brand value of Yodlee which doesn't exist in the market. Look into aspects to move the company to profit making one, not just revenue. Though we are getting very few new clients, many clients are moving off, is the management watching the trend? Kindly accept changes, sometimes radical changes. Value the capable candidates and make attempt to retain the talents, I mean real talents not just so-called talents

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Yodlee full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Small company, so you get recognition much better than big firms IF you perform or ready to perform
    2. New MD is very proactive in improving the YODLEE brand image, that was so badly damaged by the earlier MD. You can depend on him and very much approachable
    3. World class product, recognized by all major and minor banks of US

    Cons

    1. Some people have very selfish motives
    2. Work pressure, but sometimes that works as a "Pros" for me.
    3. Still some employees do not get recognition for good work, due to wrong impression set by the managers

    Advice to Management

Please keep on the good job and please keep in mind that the employees are the biggest asset of the company, please do as much as you can to create a people friendly environment.
