Good idea, good people, total chaos and lack of consistency - Technical Support Zuum Employee Review

I have worked at Zuum for 4.5 years. Had an excellent team, a CTO that was spot on and overall we we're encouraged to use the lastest technologies and use best practices

Poor communication sometimes between management from US and the team located on Romania/Ukraine

The technology, specifically their in house platform is well done.

-Management is extremely toxic, specifically the leadership team. Routine “emergency” meetings where everyone’s job is threatened. -Most employees are required to be micromanaged on an ongoing call throughout the entire day with their team and managers. -90% of the business depends on one account. If (or when) that account is lost, the entire brokerage fails. -Zero culture. Everyone at the office seems to be afraid for their job. Leadership intimidates most employees. Not a lot of collaboration. -Extremely process oriented. Not much “doing,” with most of the time spent on reviewing or re-doing tedious processes. -Expectations are extremely high and unrealistic. The monthly revenue and profit projections are normally made up and forecasted incorrectly.
