Pros

There are some really smart people working here and you can learn a lot from them. Pay and benefits are pretty good. Some of the projects are interesting work with reasonable deadlines and expectations.

Cons

If you end up on the wrong project, you'll end up working nights and weekends non-stop for several months in a row and the work will be nothing but bug fixing and integration. Overlapping project schedules means that there's an important deadline almost every week. There's very little opportunity to be creative. The company is very cheap when it comes to equipment and supplies - you will get a low-end laptop with not enough memory, the company intranet is incredibly slow and you'll end up sharing a cube with two other people.

Advice to Management

Spend less money on parties and more on equipment. We could get more done if we had better infrastructure and faster hardware. Constant deadlines eliminate the sense of accomplishment and decrease morale. You can't solve problems faster by throwing more people at them - it may seem to work in the short term, but it ends up causing chaos and creating more bugs that won't be found until it's too late.

    Pros

you come to find out early that management HR does not care if you leave or stay that you're just a number in the system. Expendable not appreciated. I work was seriously good work ethic people with only Amazon and Amazon Customer in mind hey Princeton graduate you have people that actually have integrity character and work ethic that are often ignored as troublemakers and eventually terminated and they call it rate I think this company is a 1920 Sweatshop with a bright shiny name they did teach you one thing in Princeton Before how to lie to the public and make them think they need something that you put out there all on the backs of their children slaving away in hot buildings being bullied because they don't know their rights it's their first job people that say this is a great company are lying through their teeth if this was a great company they wouldn't have such horrific reviews online I'd like to see all Seattle upper management come down and work and our conditions you people people pay x amount of money for a piece of paper and forget where you come from shame on you be so slap yourself in the head with one of your books

    Cons

I know what a pro and a con is I just needed the extra room I believe Amazon and its attorneys have found every loophole and every labor law possible every civil law and are walking a fine line between discrimination on every level. Bezo Your Donald Trump with your most customer Centric company.

    Advice to Management

Wh.ere!, do you find these so-called managers only an i think they were a managers can tell they've had no training on how to manage 150 Associates all at the same time I have to honestly say congratulations Bezos you're the most customer-centric company in the world and your customers don't know that you've built this company on the sweat of their children's backs by intimidation mandatory this time off for that and they happily handing them over to you go work for Amazon. this is why you don't allow any cell phones any pictures in the building heaven forbid mr. Mrs. GQ see how their little Son has to work and his working conditions they may not be so good if customers after that I wonder if that's why you don't want to go Union you like that will get you out of being accountable or taking ownership or leadership as you say you created this monster stand up be proud but I want all you parents out there to know that are sending your kids to Amazon for their first job you're not doing them any favors and every product you buy from this company is literally the sweat, injuries, bleeding fingers trampled self-esteem
off the sweat of 19 and 20 year old somebody sent her daughter Brow
and all this customer Centric loyal trusting customers continue to buy their From Amazon help promoting slave labor. I'll tell you one thing for sure I work hard every single day I've not had one day of fun and I keep looking for it
