I worked at eviCore healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The supervisors and trainers and typically very helpful. PTO is accrued with each paycheck.

    Cons

Some callers are difficult. Occasionally the nurses and doctors that call in can be quite rude and condescending. Raises are small and infrequent. I was given a $.24 after 2 years. I was told raises are yearly, however, if you are hired after a certain date (in my case, a week or so after that date passed) you must wait for the NEXT year's review and raise.

    eviCore healthcare Response

    October 20, 2017Supervisor, Talent Operations

Thank you for your review; eviCore truly appreciates your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear that you are enjoyed your time at eviCore. We are committed to empowering our leaders to be excellent resources for employees. We're glad to hear that you experienced this with the supervisors and trainers that you worked with. I’d like to share some information about our annual compensation review process. 1. Everyone hired prior to September 1 is eligible unless that person received a promotion or increase from September 1 – December 31 2. The increase is prorated based on length of service during the reviewed fiscal year (i.e. if the person were employed and contributed for 6 out of 12 months of the corporate goals, they would receive 50% of the eligible increase amount) 3. Each employee’s personal increase is based on their performance for the given review period The increase is based on the employee’s final salary on December 31. So if an employee received a promotion on July 1, their increase would not be prorated, and their merit % would be based off of their final income on the last day of the fiscal year. We hope that this provides some clarity around how increases are handled.

I have been working at eviCore healthcare full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good Pay, Supportive IT Management, Flexible schedule and competitive environment. Lot of cutting edge technologies leveraged which makes it an exciting place to learn new skills

    Cons

Medical Benefits - This company is great for someone who has no life, no family, no medical issues, and will never have any unforeseen emergencies and that way they can dedicate their soul to the company. Sadly, they really make it sound like to best place you could ever work and give you all this supportive gibberish but it is all smoke and mirrors. Executive team is all WHITE MEN AND WHITE WOMEN but yet they will launch programs to embrace diversity. They need a lesson to see how Humana, United run their diversity and inclusion programs.
