Pros
- General benefits are at least comparable or better than similar companies in NCR. - Even during downturns, good performers can get good appraisals. - HR team tries its best to maintain a healthy level of employee engagement. - After years of constant organisational changes and uncertainity, the company has been bought by a very big company that should bring some job security to the engg team. - Work life balance is ok. Employees can take long leaves without too much pushback by managers.
Cons
- Politics and favoritism is rife. Especially in QA - Some incompetent people being tolerated in organisation for years is open secret to everyone but upper management. - Middle management is still bloated with too many managers just tracking status - From dev point of view, quality of work is not good anymore and tech stack has stagnated for past 3-4 years. - Remains to be seen what changes the new company will bring to the organisation in terms of compensation and HR benefits.
