I worked at iData Research part-time

    Pros

I only worked at the company part-time and hope to go back after my studies. The people are amazing and the market reports, custom research, reimbursement tracker, etc seem to be well regarded by the clients. I personally feel they don't have great salespeople who understand the sales process and know how to best take care of their clients. There is a lot of money to be made and I saw first hand how good salespeople there were cleaning up. I applied for marketing but I think I will apply for sales once I am done. There is a lot of money to be made.

    Cons

I feel they need help with sales management. The instructions are hardly followed and there is a lot of back and forth wasting time and effort. I liked their marketing initiatives but the sales never seemed to follow up.

    Advice to Management

Be more decisive in setting goals and expecting results. It will make everyone more happy once the sales roll in. Follow up on the training programs and help the teams achieve results. I have followed this company as a business major and I they have explosive growth potential. I am not just saying that because I like this company (definitely better than my last job), but anyone can research this industry and find out that there is a lot of potential.

    Pros

The Sr. Analysts are great and always willing to help. The work is interesting and you get to know many different faces of the medical device industry.

    Cons

If you are not used to primary research it can be hard to adapt.

    Advice to Management

Maybe just getting a better database on prospective interviews to make primary research more efficient.
