I have been working at iHEAR Medical for less than a year

    Pros

People are very friendly. Extremely close to BART Bay Fair Station (You can literally see the building from the platform). It's a company growing extremely fast. A lot of opportunities in the future. Flexible shift schedule.

    Cons

It's a small company on this moment but could become a Google anytime.

I have been working at iHEAR Medical full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You are working with the originators of the latest hearing aid device technology. This team developed a Hearing test that can be done anywhere with an internet connection and customize your device sound settings with their own algorithms to deliver top quality sound. You have the opportunity to work with every department and yes your opinion does count. The CEO and upper management appreciate feedback, they want... to know what goes on in the company and how to improve it. Working here feels like a family, team members truly care and help each other, even for personal things. The CEO is a very considerate person helping employees with their personal and family matters on many occasions. There are so many opportunities for you to improve processes, documentation, solve problems that you really make a substantial positive impact. I personally have been able to contribute in departaments from marketing to engineering. It's a fast pace environment. There is no time to get bored, The day goes by so quickly. Just imagine with less than 30 employees you have the following departments: Marketing, documentation, engineering, R&D, customer and professional support, manufacturing, legal, software, logistics, shipping and receiving, quality, etc. It takes a top notch team to do this. You will really experience how it is to grow from a start-up to a big company. We have huge potential and are definitely on the radar.

    Cons

You have to be comfortable multi-tasking and being on your A game. You have to hit the ground running and be very proactive

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at iHEAR Medical full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Making hearing devices available to all over the counter at very reasonable prices...

    Cons

Narrow minded CEO, disorganized, thinks he is an expert on all the fields and that makes him his own worst enemy.

    Advice to Management

CEO must step aside and do finance/planning, not engineering or manufacturing.
